Family grown food since 2018

At Miltown Farm we work to produce vegetables and flowers organically, through regenerative agricutlure. This means we don't use pesitcides, no synthetic fertilizer, and no tilling. All of our food is grown with the health of the planet and our customers in mind.

Regenerative agriculture is a conservation and rehabilitation approach to farming.  It focuses on topsoil regeneration, increasing biodiversity, improving the water cycle, enhancing ecosystem services, supporting bio sequestration ( capturing carbon), increasing resilience to climate change, and strengthening the health and vitality of farm soil.

Rachael and David met in 2010 at the Univserity of Limerick and quickly realised their shared love of anything farm and food related. Rachael grew up in upstate NY running around her grandparents dairyfarm and planting their family vegetable garden each spring. David hails from Limerick and spent his childhood on his parents dairyfarm on the outskirts of Limerick city. After spending years finishing school, travelling, and growing veggies in their tiny backgarden, they broke ground in 2018. For the past number of years they we have been growing the garden and our family. In 2019 we welcomed our first daughter Ella and in 2021 we welcomed Mairead.
